Free-fighting, unscripted sparring between 2 karateka, is an indispensable part of the Seichou Karate curriculum. We often wear protective equipment during free-fighting, including gloves, head gear, groin, shin-instep and chects protectors.These leather fighting gloves are superb for adult students who practice of contact free-fighting at our dojo. 1.5” of padding over knuckle area with similar impact absorption of a 16oz. boxing glove. 16” strap offers maximum wrist stability. Leather finger loops lined with moisture wicking fabric make for a comfortable fit. Moisture wicking fabric on glove interior allows for a dry, long lasting glove. Open palm design allows you to work from heavy striking into take downs and/or submissions.
