Free-fighting, unscripted sparring between 2 karateka, is an indispensable part of the Seichou Karate curriculum. We often wear protective equipment during free-fighting, including gloves, head gear, groin, shin-instep and chest protectors. These Children's Fighting Gloves are made of leather and polyester. 10mm thick EVA pads protect the knuckles, backs of hands and fingers. Elastic mesh fabric between fingers is breathable and promotes comfort. Teri-cloth thumb absorbs sweat during training and fighting. 27CM Velcro secures the gloves on the hands and can be adjusted to a wide array of wrist sizes. However, the Velcro does not restrict wrist flexion or extension and, as such, the wrist bends freely.
