Camp Activities

  1. Healthy Mind & Body
Seichou Karate training develops focus, resilience, confidence, coordination, and self-discipline through movement, structured practice, and positive encouragement.
  1. Japanese Language Exposure
Campers learn simple Japanese greetings, counting, and conversational expressions through listening, repetition, games, scavenger hunts, and role playing.
  1. Japanese Cultural Activities
Children explore origami, calligraphy, etiquette, Japanese proverbs, geography, samurai and ninja history, and traditional cultural practices.
  1. Indoor Games & Leadership Challenges
Obstacle courses, relay races, teamwork exercises, balance competitions, reaction games, mindfulness activities, chopstick challenges, and leadership tasks help children develop cooperation and confidence.
  1. Quiet Time
Each camp day includes calm individual time for drawing, coloring, reading, journaling, and guided breathing exercises.
  1. Interaction & Discussion Time
Campers listen to Japanese stories and discuss age-appropriate topics such as anime, sports, music, geography, festivals, nature, and daily camp experiences. We emphasize both thoughtful conversation and respectful listening.

Pricing

  • $425 for a 5-day camp week
  • 10% discount for a second family member. Call us at 571.257.5401 to register.
  • 15% discount for a third family member. Call us to register.
  • $25 referral credit for campers who recommend a friend who enrolls. Call us to refer a friend.
